So the soft closing just went to the bin. We believe that your doors are so light wait that you need additional force to release soft close mechanism. This doesn't mean product is useless. Just be aware you need to use the QR code on the box to access fitting instructions. There was an error by the manufacturer at packing stage as my box contained two connecting rods (instead of one) and no extension rods (instead of two). However when I contacted the supplier they were incredibly helpful and sent the missing parts by Royal Mail tracked 24 the very next day. Incredible customer service.
