About this product

Product Information

The No. 1 BestsellerOne of the most important British films of the century'The best book ever written by man or woman-deserves to sell more copies than the Bible' Rebel Inc 'An unremitting powerhouse of a novel that marks the arrival of a major new talent. Trainspotting is a loosely knotted string of jagged, dislocated tales that lay bare the hearts of darkness of the junkies, wide-boys and psychos who ride in the down escalator of opportunity in the nation's capital. Loud with laughter in the dark, this novel is the real McCoy. If you haven't heard of Irvine Welsh before-don't worry, you will' The Herald

Film is way better, I watched this then read the book a decade later, hugely disappointed and upset to the point I read most of the book, and vowed to not finish it or read one of his novels again! Disturbing , traumatized and unnecessary does to even come close to how this book made me feel, at a certain part. Closed book- done- will read no more. Thank f### I read the new one 1St coz it was 1St class in every way. I still will not buy another book of his coz of wat I read in the 1St book.
