    Not really a platinum collection

    I know it is called the platinum collection but it covers 1955 to 1960. Whilst some of the tracks were number 1's and rightly so, some were simply movie tracks which were not released as singles. Some of the songs are B-sides, which is fine, but doesn't add emphasis to the idea of a platinum collection. I think the production company used the first 5 years of Elvis' career to determine the possibility of a platinum collection 2 and 3 etc, but filling the collection with filler tracks doesn't help. I haven't seen a second or third collection so I assume many others judged the collection the same way. It was OK but could have been better.

    Best Collection Ever!

    I have finally managed to get this outstanding compilation that has been around for quite a while now but never at the tremendously-slashed price that I bought it for. It was a price-drop worth waiting for, considering that the collection has indeed all of the Rock King's premium hits. It is a renowned compilation that has justifiably withstood the test of time to date. Long live the King!

    A must-have for Elvis fans

    Not sure I could be called a full-on Elvis fan but I do enjoy his music and this collection has all the usual favs plus a few I'd never heard. Any fan would be happy to have this compilation in their music library.
