I started my son's riding career by making him read this book - I had only read parts of it as I borrowed the book initially. My son of 39 rides better than me and I am a senior and been riding since I was 16. He took me on a track day recently, I wasn't keen. He out-rides me easily though I was on a road R1 so a bit reticent. I have now bought myself a copy and my cornering has greatly improved from a safety and speed aspect. Like skiing, riding a bike is an ever-learning experience. The guy who lent me the book in the first place has been instrumental in further purchases of the book and now, won't even lend his out LoL. You have nothing to lose in reading this publication - you DO, have everything to gain, Try it, it's a cheap way to gain valuable assets.

  • A valuable book for any motorcyclist.

This book provides a wealth of great, potentially life saving information for motorcyclists of all levels. Included are plenty of tips for maximizing your riding experience, equally divided between performance and safety. I've been riding for years, but I immediately learned stuff from this book that I was able to put into practice right away. If you continually strive to be the best rider you can, you should check this one out. It includes not just what you should do, but the science behind it. Great for both street and track riding.

  • Great Beginner Book to take You to the Next Level

This is a great book for someone who is relatively new to sport riding and who wants to improve their skills. It covers all aspects of the basics. It does bring some issues to light that even seasoned riders may not have contemplated. I read the book in two days. It is well illustrated and well written.

  • A Must Have - If You Ride a Motorcycle

This is one of my favorite books on this subject. It's packed with real world information on how to develop the skills required to ride on the street. This is not a book on how to become a street racer. Though track day riding is covered. It is a book about learning the skills to be faster, confident and comfortable. Because a comfortable rider is a SAFE rider. Although it is geared towards Sportbike riders, these lessons are for ANY type of motorcycle. It's that good!
