The first major rock group to emerge from the San Francisco, Bay Area rock n' roll scene, the Beau Brummels sailed into the national top ten in early 1965 with the Sly Stone produced "Laugh Laugh," and then entered the top five with "Just a Little," the follow up. Featured here are the best of those classic early recordings, a unique blend of rock, folk and country influences which endeared them to fans on both sides of the Atlantic. All selections newly re-mastered.

    The Best of the Beau Brummels

    Early folk rock. Their vocal harmonies rival or surpass the early Beatles or the Byrds. Excellent guitar work. Ron Eliott's writing is quite thought provoking at times. I still have the LP version from when it came out =happy it mase it to CD. Definitely worth the listen.. Beats some of the relative junk out on CD today. These guys could actually play their instruments, sing and harmonize.
