Size 33 as specified on the tag is the brand size and does not reflect the size of the waist or any one measurement directly. Because of the disparity in sizing among different brands, and because pre-loved jeans can shrink or stretch, all jeans in our shop have measurements taken at 7 different spots. This measurement is what is reflected in the description and title of the jeans you purchased.
