    BG-22 Battery grip for Canon EOS R

    Ability to use with one or two LPE6N or LPE6NH batteries for extended run time. Gives extra stability when using heavier lenses. Can charge batteries whilst in the grip using USBC. As it's genui Canon grip connects easy and fits perfectly retaining weather sealing .

    Overpriced - but works well

    I have battery grips on all of my EOS bodies - they improve the grip and the balance - especially when long lenses are fitted. This one is OK - silly money to buy, of course, and this one is supposed to be able to charge the batteries in situ. I have not been able to make mine do that.

    Pricey, but good

    Really helps to balance the EOS R and adds a bit more length to the grip that I much prefer. It's also great for portrait shots. The double battery capacity is very useful, especially for those of us coming from the much more power efficient world of DSLR. The charger is helpful, but only if you have the right 'N' batteries and the charging unit really adds a lot to the price.

    Love it

    The mirrorless range eats batteries. This has given my EOS R much needed extra life. Have not had an issue of running out of juice since. The grip feels solid and is easy to use.

    Over priced for what it is - but it’s well made and works a treat

    It does it’s job very well - great addition to the EOSR - over priced for what it is - but the quality is there to see. It makes sense if you are travelling - to have 2 batteries in the camera at once - I went out all day shooting go and still had lots of battery at the end of the day. It’s a good buy - just expensive!
