Blackstone's Student Police Officer Handbook 2e is a key text for student police officers undergoing their initial police training and provides all the underpinning subject matter and skills development materials required for the Initial Police Learning and Development Programme (IPLDP). Fully updated for the second edition, the content of each chapter links closely to the new and revised 22 National Occupational Standards for the IPLDP curriculum which were introduced in 2007.
