As the job was underway in a local garage, I had to immediately source one locally, to avoid workshop delays of several days while a replacement was sent. I sent the supplier the invoice, £84 incl vat, he apologised and agreed to pay it. It has taken a month to get a refund; for £48, which he says is his invoice amount, not the £84 I paid.
