If there is any resistance while drawing the knife, the sheath comes off of the belt. Given the price. I don’t expect the edge to last for extended use but I purchased it for weak hand, emergency defense and expect to sharpen it with each use. The point has a steep angle and delivers a good penetrative punch. If someone attempts to take my handgun it will definitely distract them.
