    Best pencil sharpener I've ever used

    This really is the best pencil sharpener I've found, and I recommend it to the students in my art class. It sharpens pencils really well, but the great thing about it is the fact that it sharpens lots of different kinds of pencils. There are 3 sharpeners in one: regular, coloured pencil and large, so it's very versatile. I often find that pencils break as you sharpen them with a regular sharpener, but that doesn't seem to happen with this one. The pot that stores the sharpenings is handy too. My only criticism is that the two sides have separated, which doesn't affect its ability to sharpen, but does mean that my pencil sharpener is now in two pieces. It would be good if the flexible join were made of a slightly more robust material. Other than that, it's brilliant!

    Reasonable

    I bought this Faber Castell Trio sharpener as I use Faber Castell Pitt Pastel pencils, it's not perfect as some of the pastels leads break on sharpening but it's handy to have to be able to sharpen different sized pencils.

    Faber-Castell Trio Pencil Sharpener

    great little sharpener, three different sized holes accommodates different sized pencils well, sharpens to a good point & the self contained shavings vessels are very handy & easy to empty.. I found the shape of the sharpener to be well designed, easy to hold, bearing in mind I suffer with arthritis in my hands.

    Easy and sharp

    Very easy to use. It opens and closes without a great deal of force needed, but it stays closed in transit, or simply after being knocked about or dropped. Sharpens pencils beautifully without snagging or ripping the wood. So far I've used it for ordinary pencils, colouring pencils, and watercolour pencils, and it has done a wonderful job sharpening all of them.

    Decent and Useful Sharpener

    The sharpener is unusual in that it has three sharpening receptacles and two shavings containers which makes it quite useful to take care of most sharpening requirements. The blades are sharp and the finished product ( pencil ) ends up with a good short tip which may require frequent sharpenings. If a long tip is desired, the sharpener can create a useful tip which can then be lengthened manually.
