I was not sure about the concrete effect when looking online but as the top matched worktops and my cooker and appliances are black, I took a chance and am so pleased I did. It looks stylish and it's height and length are perfect. I left one shelf out when assembling as I felt it would leave too small a gap to the bottom shelf. I can now put larger items on it. It took two of us three hours to put together but we are not a young couple!

Well worth the money, the table is very sturdy, I think so long as the table is well looked after it will provide years of service.
