    Don’t waste time on a cheaper alternative, buy this one!

    Initially I purchased a cheaper generic version of this filter at half the price and despite endless flushing I continued to get black bits in my water & ice. Decided enough was enough and purchased this genuine LG filter, initially when I flushed through I got some black cloudy water but that soon clears and no more black bits in water & ice. Don’t waste time buying a cheaper filter, this one is still reasonably priced and works great!

    Light and

    I feel assured that I am getting cleaner filtered water as it is very clear coming out from my fridge. Although it was difficult to dismantle at first, if not for a plumber I had there at the time to advise how to do it, I think it would still be there unused. It turned out a simple push in to remove the tube not just pull like I was doing!

    does the job and doesn’t leak

    This filter connects at each end and doesn’t leak water. I replaced my old LG filter due to age, The water still tastes like water and the ice continues to freeze. So far so good. 🥰
