    Pretty Paperweight

    The actual tool is high quality, but just did not work on my bike - XT600 3AJ. To be fair there was only a tiny bit of race exposed to get a grip on. For this to work you would need around 2mm for the tool to grip. I ended up getting a local guy to weld a piece of rod onto the race and hammer it out. £10 and 10 minutes. Unless you plan to replace a lot of races on different bikes I would suggest you go down the welding route. I now have a £30, albeit pretty, paperweight.

    Essential

    This bearing remover was exactly what I needed to replace the bearings on my cb600f. The lower bearing sits in a recess so is unreachable from above. This tool allowed me to knock it out with ease. There doesn't appear to be a mark on the tool after use so this will do many more bearings in the future, probably a tool for life if you ask me.
