    Best dive watch at this price range

    I have owned several of these watches over the years and they never disappoint. I love the Sunday blue dial and the consistent reliability of the hand assembled Japanese movement. This is a 200m dive watch that punches way above its weight. Only criticism would be that the bracelets tend to be a bit rattly and don't have solid end links and you only get mineral glass when most watches in this price range now get at least sapphire coating. I own 2 Orient watches and thoroughly recommend.

    Nice watch

    Sits well in my collection which includes Rolexs & Panerais, a very smart but affordable watch. The only slight criticism would be about the size, a millimetre or so bigger and it would be perfect.

    Orient Ray ll

    Received within a day and a half in perfect condition. I was blown away by the blue dial, the watch looks fantastic! I was looking at a Seiko 007 or 009 but decided to go with the Ray ll because of the movement,( self wind and hacking ) and the great reviews it got too! Pleased as punch with my choice!

    Great first automatic diver

    Beautiful out of the box, attention to detail, great for casual wear yet very stylish. Easy to set up and only -15 seconds after 2 weeks. Can’t see any downsides. Someone once described it as “bulletproof”, that’s the impression this watch gives.

    Orient Ray II

    I was in 2 minds whether to get the orient Ray or mako. I chose the Ray in the end and I am so pleased with the watch. I’ve only been wearing it for a few days but I’ve already had plenty of comments on how nice it looks and a few people asking how much it costs as it looks more like a £500-£1000 watch. Great purchase.
