It's far too lightweight and the pile so thick that the front door wouldn't go over it, causing it to ruck up and move. It has a lovely soft pile that would be ideal for a bedside rug, especially for a child, but it leaves foot indents when you walk on it and it's not heavy enough to stay put. I would suggest it wouldn't be suitable for areas where people are walking through. I returned the rug and had a hassle-free refund from the seller.
