    Beautifully packed but we were disappointed with the condition and horrified at the restoration costs . ( this from another party )This will teach us to ask more questions .The seller was also reluctant to describe its provenance fully . I might still buy again but not at the price i did . Ah well lessons to be learnt . The seller was pleasant though ! I hate leaving feedback that cannot be 100% positive but sadly i cant on this occasion .

    I think you actually got a very good deal on this painting compared to his other works and this was actually in very good condition for its age. Restoration costs are always a ripoff, I don't control that. And lastly, the provenance. I've told you that it came from a Devon estate sale during the covid thingy. I know exactly the manor house, the address and the names of the people, however I can't disclose that information due to data protection laws, just like I can't disclose any buyer data
