    Fine but auto focus doesn't work

    I read some reviews on this lens and it seems it needs a firmware upgrade to get the autofocus working. To be fair I bought it only for image sharpness and so the lack of auto focus doesn't bother me. It also seems that the focal plane lies slightly behind the point of focus detected by the camera i.e. it needs a firmware upgrade and recalibration. I can work with these points so I'm not bothered as it was brand new and less than half price and gives possibly the sharpest image I've ever been able to produce. Hence I'm fine with it but others may not be. A
