    No more spider crack

    After calling around to repair a chip in my windshield and obtaining charges from $60 to $95 I decided to see what YouTube had to say about windshield repair. After watching several repairs by various products I decided to try this one. I was hesitant at first but like everything in life finally dove into the repair. I will say I started in the garage and drew a circle around the chip with a permanent ink pen (easily removed with alcohol). I positioned the opening over the chip using the circle I had drawn inside then I checked if from inside. I filled up the included vial with solution and put into the tube then compressed it down. Make sure you have a cloth below the holder because it does tend to run. Following the instructions to the letter when I removed the bridge there was ...

    FLAWED

    The bridge in this kit is obviously flawed. It is not threaded to accommodate the resin chamber. This makes it impossible to apply pressure at the repair. This is a manufacturing mistake. The seller inspected a couple of other kits and said that the center holes weren't threaded. Said maybe it wasn't suppose to be. The O.D. on the chamber has threads for a reason. I would recommend staying away from this item until the problem is fixed

    Cheap fix won't take mark completely away

    The directions were more complicated then I thought they would be. You have to leave your car running to get the windshield hot plus u have to take advantage of shade and sunlight. Other then that i was very happy for the cheap fix. It didn't take the mark away completely but at least the crack won't grow.

    Windshield repair kit

    Instructions could be better, it comes with two o rings, you have to figure out how to put the whole gizmo together. Pictures would have been nice, but it did fix the rock chip in my windshield.
