Meanwhile with still no news of her beloved Gregson, Edith suffers under the burden of her terrible secret. Downstairs, the servants are starting to consider what effect social changes may have on their working lives. While Daisys mind is opened to new possibilities, Mrs Patmore views such new and uncertain paths with trepidation. Anna and Bates have weathered many storms and are finally starting to plan their future. But with so much painful history, will they ever be able to completely move on, or will past secrets once again threaten their chance of ever finding happiness?

    the title says it all, immediately engages the viewer.

    This to me is probably the best series I have seen. there was another series "Monarch of the Glen" which was indeed a great series. Downton Abbey has it all. Music script and acting is spot on. Julian Fellowes is a genius in his field and is an amazing man. happy to have the whole series and movies. Perhaps there is a follow up as well. I hope so.

    GREAT STORY, TOLD WELL

    We now have the six seasons of Downton Abbey. This has been a filmic experience that we have enjoyed immensely. The characters are well represented and very "real." The series has been a feature of our evenings over many weeks and will be replayed again in the future due to its engaging nature.
