Also new is the ability to light a "beacon fire," which serves as a recovery point when characters die as well as a meeting point for sharing experience.<br><br>Both cooperative and competitive multiplayer game types are supported, with the option for online users to leave behind messages and warnings to help other players.

    Darksouls is still the GOAT of dark fantasy gaming after all these years.

    I really love this game!!!! I was hesitant to try at first but by god is this the best game ever made. This game has taken over my life completely ever since I first booted it up to play and has become a strong part of my daily life and how I interact with video games in general. I wish I could buy everyone in the world a copy no one should miss out on the experience of playing darksouls 1. Still the GOAT after all this time and always will be as I move on into the future. Praise the Sun!!!

    Best game I have ever played

    I had the game for PC but never got into it that much. I didn't realize how deep of a game this was. Frustrating and nerve-racking at times but whenever you get past a very difficult area you feel accomplished. I highly recommend this game, no PS plus needed for online play. Even if the game is a few years old it is very active with players.
