It had very marked surfaces with scratches all over, poorly crimped to the actuator (not sure of the correct term), but worst of all was a large dent on the last outside diameter of about .003 thousandth of an inch. Probably caused by being dropped. It made it to tight to go freely into the hole. Fortunately, being a retired precision engineer, I had the equipment to rectify this. Now fine
