      Modded my Stampede 4x4 VXL to a hill and trail crawler, with the factory diffs it is a terrible crawler. Tried up to 1,000,000 weight diff lube with poor results, swapped in these spools and it practically climbs trees. Cannot use it on high traction surfaces or you may run into steering problems and spool failure.

      Stampede 4x4 diff locker

      Its super durable but if you operate on any hard surface with your rc it will break axles and strip out your wheels. Also forget about sharp turns it will just kinda push straight its not good for me. But maybe I got it for the wrong application.

      Works good, gives you a lot of traction, which helps with wheelies and drifting. I have this on my rustler 4x4 and I drive it on dirt and gravel and this helps a ton. I did break a rear driveshaft minutes after installing this because with the differential being locked the tires can’t spin at different speeds so when you’re turning the force is being put on the driveshafts.
