    New shellacer

    New to using shellac, especially making my own cut. Love how easy it is to apply, how quick it dries, the look, and the feel. With more practice all of those likes will get even better. The only real problem I had was due to my in experience. I had about a 1-1/2# cut and some tight places to get finish into, so so squeeze out and build up in some places. I tried to reapply over some areas to smooth out the look and was somewhat successful. I will be using it more.

    Garnet Shellac Flakes

    We are restoring a room in our 1850s house, installing some new pine wall paneling which had to match original, natural finish trim work. Commercial stain did not come close what we wanted so we decided to try darkening commercial amber shellac with additional garnet flakes. The flakes we received from Wellermart were of excellent quality. They easily dissolved giving us exactly the color and shade we were trying to achieve. The fast turn around time between ordering and receiving this product was an added bonus.

    Antique items can now be appropriately refinished.

    Puzzled by the dark finished on older woodwork and other items? If you can dissolve it with alcohol then this is likely your answer. Good quality, pure dark shellac with instructions.
