      Good product, does what it says on the tin! A bit on the expensive side and only time will tell if it's truly good value or not, but with a 5 year guarantee at least the manufacturers are confident in their product. The leads on the attachments to the battery are just about long enough but are quite short. I had a need to contact their customer support for something specific to me and their response was prompt and extremely helpful which gives me great confidence that if something does go wrong it will get sorted swiftly and efficiently.

      Ctek mxs5 charger. It charges the battery.

      Bought the Ctek mxs5 to try recond mode on my 3yr old VW golf battery. Unfortunately the charger did not do any better than my existing 10yr old Halfords charger. The battery sits at 80%+ SOC after either charger has been to work on it. Car still runs fine but will replace the battery soon. Can't fault the charger and I've got two chargers now that I can use on our car batteries during lockdown. Not convinced the charger is any better than a cheaper charger but will continue to use it.

      Easy to use quality battery conditioner

      Already have one of these on a motorbike that is not used very often and just bought another one for one of my cars that doesn't get used that much. Excellent product with features for different types of battery and easy to use. A quality product definitely recommended.

      A Brilliant Piece of Kit!

      Wonderful charger, high quality, and easy to use. I bought this after reading several reviews. My car's battery was completely flat after sitting unused during the coronavirus crisis, but the CTEK had it up to 80% restart level very quickly. I left it to fully charge and do all the diagnostics and this was done in a total of just over 6 hours. Very impressive and another lesson that it's best to buy quality.
