Bobby Jones is a legendary figure in golfing circles, having won almost every championship by the time he was 25. He is remembered throughout the game as a fine shot-maker, but also as a man of magnetism, courage and intelligence. First published in 1927, this autobiography was written in collaboration with O.B.Keeler, Jones' right-hand man on the tournament circuit. It focuses particularly on some of the key moments in Jones' playing career, describing the successes and disappointments that greeted him. The book is an insight into the sport during the early decades of the 20th century, drawing on personal anecdotes and characterizations of golfing personalities to recreate the atmosphere of the period.
