    Great for outdoor applications.

    I purchased these in order to replace some 6.5" speakers that were installed on the outside of an RV. Subjected to the elements, they had completely deteriorated. Not sure how long they'll last but the price made it a lot easier to make the decision to buy. I bought two pair, just in case. I was an added delight to then find out just how good they sounded!

    Does not fit standard speaker holes

    The holes do not match up to any of the holes in my 2 different vehicles. These will not work as replacements for stock speakers as they do not fit the holes. The mount ring is larger than the normal speaker of this size.

    easy to install, great sound quality, and now i have a sound entire sound system in my car for under $150, not many people can say that and still be happy with the sound. but my system is great and the speakers are a quintessential part of that.

    good for the money

    All that matters to me is the fact that they sound better than my stock speakers did. They are probably just as good as more expensive speakers because they appear to made out of the same materials. I'm just not sure about power handling.

    Boss 300w car speakers

    Wow , these sound great . My '98 Nissan Pathfinders rear speakers were blown , so I ordered a set of these Boss 300w speakers to replace the Clarion factory installed pair that were blown due to age . These arrived quickly , look great (although you can't see them once installed) were easy to install and sound fantastic . They have great highs and lows and unbelievable bass . Truly a bargain for the price.
