    It helped diagnose a battery problem, and told me the alternator was working OK. So a simple battery replacement. Easy to use but the "connectors" could be more positive.

    Red battery alternator tester 6 led/avoid

    Its the smallest thing u can get and not worth it.. cables very tin.. you can't tell the voltage.. spend few pounds more to get one with screen.. avoid it

    Missing magnetic strip...

    For the most part this is a very good product, but it is missing the one thing which makes it easier to use. Which is a magnetic strip fixed to the back of it - to make it even easier to use. Having this means you can stick it to any steel surface to enable you to read it without having to hang on to it all the time. Certain manufacturers of earlier models of this item were indeed fitted with the strip so why not this one. Apart from this small but very usefull edition its an excellent piece of kit for your tool box.....

    Simple to use item.

    Really good product for the price and simple to use when identifying if battery or alternator is faulty. Therefore easier just to get the part and getting charged for labour only with a garage. Saving less time car in garage and cost effective.
