My kitchen wall is blue so the blu tack showing is no problem. I didn't realise that there was a bit to peel off and the supplier advised me of that when I thought I had a second hand one as there was writing on it. It looks really nice in the part of the kitchen I put it and I'm using it for fridge magnets.
