    The blue book provides prices dealers should be or are paying for coins. It contains multiple photographs but is short on exposition, at least compared to the Red Book, which is the standard price guide for coin collectors. Basically, if you think you should get this book, you're probably wrong. The Red Book probably would serve you better. What happened to the seller feedback? Why am I forced to rate a product when information about the seller (which performed perfectly here) is more useful?

    Best used as a wholesale reference only.

    Stated values can be lower than wholsale prices in many instances. But always a good reference point. Some details & grade categories are missing compared to the Red Book.

    Bluebook pricing for who?

    Cons.....Prices are way too low. Sometimes 1/2 of the Red Book Prices. I understand that this is "supposed?" to be dealer to dealer prices, but in fact, the prices listed in it are even too low for that. Most dealers use the Greysheet for pricing. The blue book pricing is even way below that of the Greysheet, which lies somewhere between that of the Bluebook and that of the Redbook. The bottom line is I cannot go to a show or look at the offerings on the Internet and buy a coin near the price of the Blue Book. Almost useless for the everyday collector. Additionally, I believe it is outdated by the time of it's release due to the constant fluctuation of the precious metals market.

    Blue Book

    This book is similar to Red Book. I prefer the Red Book only because it is a spiral book making it easier to handle. This Blue Book provides the same information.
