    Happy with purchase

    I bought this clipper like most people to cut my sons hair during lockdown. I found it easy to use and it cut well. Unfortunately I needed to do a bald skin fade and the clippers didn’t cut close enough for that so i’ve had to purchase another type as well, also Wahl, they are yet to arrive but i’m sure they’ll also be good. Overall i would recommend these clippers for general haircuts.

    How well it works

    It worked OK with one small problem..The adjustment of the blades is not right and if you are not careful it will cut shorter on one side of cutter blades than the other. Reason is the blades are not very well made. Must be because it is cheap version as my older model worked perfectly for many year. And they call it progress. Things were made better in the old days when we had factory's with people in them.

    Quality clippers

    I bought this because I desperately needed to get a haircut during the covid19 lockdown period. After doing a bit of online research, I found that most men recommended Wahl clippers. Opening the box, everything felt good quality, like the kind of clippers my hairdresser would use. Next I watched a youtube tutorial on how to give yourself a simple 'short back and sides' haircut and then it was time to have a go! I found the clippers easy to hold and was able to tidy up my neck, back of my head and sides using the No.4 clipper guard. The main challenge was blending the shaved parts with the rest of my hair, but I think I did a reasonable enough job. I didn't get any sense that the clippers were over heating and they were easy to clean and put away after.
