It is like a big slab of clay which you scrape into any shape needed, ie, round fat ball shapes, square ones for feeders. It can be smeared straight onto trees which is great. Most importantly the birds have taken to it straight away. Comes with coconut shells to fill. I use one to scrape the desired amount then hands to mould into shape. Excellent!Thanks
