    Very good, but...

Generally I'm very satisfied with the S9, though there are a couple of reservations. First is battery life. I'm not a heavy user, but the battery drain is still pretty big. I do get through the day without the need to charge, but I would imagine that this could be an issue for those that stream movies. Samsung need to address this for future models, especially when you see the battery life on the latest Huawei models. Secondly, the software often doesn't show notifications from Facebook. Don't know if this is down to the Android software or Samsung's launcher. On the plus side, the screen is superb, especially coming from an iPhone 6s. Beautiful rich colours and easy to view even in bright sunlight. The fast charger is very good, plus wireless charging is a bonus. I'm actually using an old wireless charger from a Nokia I had a few years back and it works fine. So, overall I'm very pleased with the S9, but with reservations. It is close to 5 stars, but not there yet.

Samsung S9. A good tough feeling phone.

These days, the Samsung S9 is 'old' an 'ancient' dinosaur in the world of mobile telephony having been launched in May 2018. But as someone who doesn't chase the latest on phones, it didn't bother me. So long as it works, is fairly recent (in a couple of years), I'm fine with that. Now in 2021, coming from a Samsung S6 the S9 the phone was much better than expected. The phone itself feels much tougher and well put together than the S6. I was on a budget and was originally looking for an S8, however all S8s either has cracked or borken screens or screen burn. Others with good screens were way out of my budget. The options haven't changed much from the the S6, moreover just newer icons and some more minor changes to some apps and easier access to others. If you're on a budget, don't want an iPhone andnoreger android, you won't get much better than the S9. Of course, this review will age faster than leaving milk out of the fridge.

    Good Phone

There are a wide variety of apps that are available for it, more than for my previous Windows phone. The only downside I find are: Little numbers appear by apps like the BBC news of Facebook, but it is never clear what those numbers indicate, even after opening the app and checking through. Unlike my Windows phone, I don't seem to be able to set 'Silent hours' so that it doesn't bleep in the middle of the night..

    Great phone

After being a die hard iPhone fan for so many years and getting sick of them the Samsung s9 is amazing. It's so much faster, battery life is better and the operating system is much smoother. It is difficult getting used to apps, settings and gadgets compared to the iPhone but I'd never go back now. Great price and it includes all the extras as if buying from Samsung themselves.

    I hate curved screen

It's a great phone but the curved display is a pointless gimmick, I prefer my old s7 screen, you want to see a screen not see it merge away round the side, imagine buying a tv watching a film and seeing the picture melt at the top and bottom. It is very good phone but only a slight upgrade from my s7

Super for Dual SIM Card users

I just love this phone. I use it with a UK and German SIM and it just fantastic. I get calls and messages for either number any time and I easily can choosr which card I want to use for what. I sm a Samsung fan anyway and this phone just makes my life so much easier. Thumbs up.

    Amazing phone

I am very satisfied with the phone. Excellent camera, eye catching design, powerful hardware, superb display. Unfortunately the battery lasts less than my previous Galaxy S7 and it is also much bigger - not easy to fit to quite a few pockets. Other than that it is perfect choice.

    Great phone

Bought myself this phone as my old Samsung was over 4 years old, have been looking for a while and decided to buy this one great price. It is faster than my old phone. Since bought a new case to protect the screen. So far so good. Would recommend

    Brilliant

This phone make me finnaly to switch from iphone.... no point talking about good things (you know them all). Only one bad thing : battery life. You have to switch off half of features to keep it going for a day.... But that it these days with phones.

    The new Samsung s9 plus

Once you get rid of Bixby which is useless, the phone is brilliant, I love it.No more Typing Texts Google assistant does it for you.Tell it to ring someone and it does. The camera is great especially in low light. I love this phone. Thomas Woodcock
