    A Real Improvement

    I bought this model primarily for its durability and being waterproof. It replaces my Galaxy S6 Edge while good initself it gets its fare share of knocks and its battery life seems to be getting shorter. Not being able to acces the battery with a view to replacing it is a major design fault in my view, leading to a kind of built-in obsolescence. The S7 has a longer battery life with also the added advantage of a slot for a mini SD card to extend storage which I have found to be a great plus. I didn't go for the Edge version this time as I find the ordinary type easier to handle ergonomically and the Edge facility a bit of an unused gimmick for me. All in all, my new S7 in its new armoured case I bought for it as on optional extra is I think the best Smartphone I have owned so far. We can both now take on the world and its hazards together.

    Samsung galaxy S7 and VR headset

    Amazing screen, brilliant camera and decent battery life! Welcome return of the memory card slot and better VR experience with the newer headset, mainly due to better ventilation and comfort. My main gripes/ concerns are that the VR apps and data rarely use the memory card and 32gb or even 64gb internal memory not quite enough. This is the reason for losing one star in my rating. Sort out this memory card usage in a future update and I would happily give this 5 stars. Overall though this is a much improved set up than the previous S6 model. The failings in the S6 and the now discontinued note 7 models nearly destroyed my faith in Samsung, so it was with trepidation I made this purchase. I can now relax somewhat with my decision and can heartily recommend both the Samsung Galaxy S7 phone and the new VR headset too!

    A brilliant upgrade!!

    I have had a few Androids over the years, and love them, so when my last smartphone developed a problem I took a look at whats new on the market, and found the S7 had everything I would need and more. It has good looks,a very big display, and feels balanced in your hand. I made my purchase and have since found its jam packed with features, but the one I am especially pleased with is its battery life. I am not a heavy phone user, just sending a couple of txts, reviewing emails and the occasional browsing session, but I have found my battery can easily last 3-4 days at this rate...compared with my last phone which would have been exhausted after a moderate days use this is fantastic!! I am am very pleased with the phone and glad I made this choice.

    Super phone

    As a genuine novice at setting up new phones (I am 79) I found this one fairly intuitive. Setting up my accounts was a doddle, but importing my data from my Huawei was less easy due to lack of memory in the Huawei! Samsung's Smart Switch did the job very quickly, but appears to need 500MB in the donor phone. The phone screen is very responsive and the Android software is exactly like it was in the Huawei. Connecting via Bluetooth to the car also went well. There are clearly many functions and facilities built into the S7 which I probably will never use, but this tells me that the phone is excellent for both beginners and experts alike. I nrecommend it to anyone.

    I got the phone I wanted at a good (black friday) price

    Did my research and checked that the phone was good, what I needed and was not too big (as suggested, in comparison to other phones) - it suits my hand size fine! It is not the latest model phone available but had better reviews thyan most for my pocket affordability. As I do not live with my phone roaming the internet 24/7 its battery life is much better than I was expecting so I'm not charging it every day. The new age camera is so much better than my old phone and with such an increased memory I can store so much pics and video. I got the phone I wanted after monitoring prices and got it during black friday sale. :)

    Great Condition, Great phone

    Works great, bought it for my wife photographing fire performances and our general circus work. The camera has some great features and handles the high contrasting light of fire in the dark brilliantly. Visual quality is brilliant and usability is spot on. Very happy. Battery life is as expected for a smartphone, the more usage with high power aps drains it quick but usually a charge in the morning or at night keeps it ticking over fine. Definitely recommend and actually considering buying for myself. Uploaded one pic from her instagram but not put many up yet, still playing with it.

    Excellent phone at great value

    Samsung Galaxy S7 easily rivals phones which are now much more expensive (I'm looking at you iPhone 7, Pixel etc). The camera is excellent, the battery life is comparatively good and you can customize a great many things to your liking. And it has a headphone jack! Just expect to have a cover for it. It's made of high quality glass on both front and back so dropping it on a hard surface would probably not end well without it. The glass can also be slippery so a cover can help with that too. Very satisfied!

    Great camera, but...

    Despite being a comparatively large phone, the S7 is easy to handle and featured a great camera in all lighting conditions. Aside from the usual Samsung bloatware they insist you'll need, but in reality will rarely use, the only problem I've found is it randomly reports that the SD card is not formatted correctly. So reformat and away you go...big problem if you store photos on the card and don't upload to a cloud server regularly. That said, it could be the memory card at fault, or just this one particular phone.

    Compact and Customer Friendly

    I have used Samsung phones before but this is several grades better than my old phone Galaxy 4s. I am not your regular phone nerds but I find it easy to navigate. The camera is exceptional. I bought it mainly for the camera as I am keen amateur photographer. The Galaxy S7 does most of what my best cameras do. The size is also big enough so I can read the news and my kindle books on it easily.

    Samsung S7 review

    I love this phone. Operating it is easy and logical. The camera is really good and takes clear pictures. Access to the internet and blue tooth is simple to achieve. The battery could last longer on a charge but I charge overnight so it is not a problem. I actually managed to change my data over much more quickly than usual by using a mixture of back up and restore, the SD card, SIM and Google. FABULOUS phone.
