    The Best Gets Even Better ...

    Long ago I bought a Note II which I replaced with a Note III when it broke and when my Note III was getting old I bought a OnePlus 6T, a truly beautiful phone, but just too different from my beloved Note for me to get on with so I gave it to a friend a bought a Note Eight instead. The Note Eight is wonderful, I LOVE IT, the pen input is even better than on the II and III and if it can understand my handwritten scrawl - good enough to be a doctor's - then it can certainly understand yours! The UI is different, but I'm getting used to it and the multi window feature is finally useful. My main annoyance is the absence of 'stickers' from the calendar app. I found these handy visual clues invaluable in highlighting important dates when glancing at the monthly view. The battery life is good enough to get me through the day and a bit more besides and it charges pretty quickly too ... All in all I'm very happy with my upgrade. Regards tbod

    New Note....same tune?

    Bought this as a Birthday gift for my wife. Having Galaxy Note 4 phone, and 3 Samsung tablets, I knew she would take to the new Note 8 fairly easily. Phone has a nice feel to it, and is very light to handle. Transfer of Data and Apps. from old phone was very easy and straightforward with Samsung's Smart Switch. So, all the data and apps from old phone were transferred in one go. Had a problem with E-Mail set up, and the What's App was a complete nightmare, and still can't get it to work. This was dissappointing as there were some contacts that were only available for my wife on this app. E-mail was difficult because it would not allow the set up of Pop Server's - which BT - Yahoo use. Finally got round this by downloading the Yahoo phone app. Overall, the phone works well and will probably take a little time to get used to, however, I think the "Settings" are not as good or defined as the previous models. Apart from that, phone is excellent.

    Best phone i've ever bought!

    Brilliant phone for general use and also office work, art and photography. The battery also lasts quite a long time. Usually up to two days which is amazing for 3500mAh. The screen quality is incredible. The Camera takes some absolutely great photographs with very high resolution. There are also all kinds of other things this phone does including counting your steps/calories etc for health and has 'Bixby' which is very similar to Alexa and Cortana. There are also many ways you can lock your phone including eye retina recognition, face recognition, finger print and voice recognition. You name it, this phone does it, apart from the washing and ironing unfortunately :-D The only downside to this phone for some people is it is quite large, so using it attached to your arm while jogging for instance will possibly not work. All in all though the pros easily out-weigh the cons, I highly recommend this phone.

    Another quality idea from Samsung lacking in technology. If they don't sort their act out they risk losing the market to Huawei which offers better everything but not in a single device. The Honor 8X Max has 5000mAh battery which outlast any other smartphone on earth on a single charge. The Honor range offers fastest security access that appears instant while Samsung and Apple devices lag behind by seconds. The 12Mp cameras are outdated compared to the standard Honor 8X 16Mp camera. The brand cost of Samsung is making me reconsider it for my next purchase. At 20% of the cost are some awesomely capable devices that exceed the flagship marketing from both Samsung and Apple. Expect the market to change radically by 2025. There is little to no status recognition in owning an iPhone or Samsung anymore which opens the market up to competitors with better devices at factions of the cost.

    Best smartphone on the market!! iPhone x can't even touch it!!

    This phone is truly amazing and the new (supposedly great and worth 1000) iPhone X doesn't even come close to specifications of this device. Just watch the YouTube videos and see how much better the screen is, the camera is, the customisation, the water proofness is even better, etc etc etc. I highly recommend buying it ... coming from a long time Apple person who got fed up with them releasing iPhone 5 copy for the last 3 years and still not cutting it with the competition but charging more money!!
