The item arrived on time and was just as described n the advert. It is easy to set up and use and correctly enables the user to set the correct amount of downward weight, or tracking weight on a record player stylus. It is easier to do this with this tool than it is without it. This then enables the user to set the correct amount of anti skate bias on the record player tonearm. So, if you use this neat little tool properly then you should be able to play your records with the stylus tracking the record groove correctly, without skipping and jumping all over the record. I have been able to do this very accurately with this easy to use gauge. If I can use it, then so can anyone.

Just bought a turntable and because the stylus cartridge wasnt brand new, (after saying this it would be a good idea to check even if it was brand new ! ) I was unsure of the tracking weight which apparently is very important as if its not correct can actually damage a record over a period of time. I found this item really good, I read the instructions prior to using it which were very striaght forward and found it very easy to use. Job well done.

The small scales come with batteries, leatherette case and 5.00g weight. The hight of the weighing platform is about 3.5mm, this will be close to the thickness or a record. It is easy to use and read with its relatively large clear LCD display. Its accuracy is more that sufficient, having verified this with various known standard weights. Highly recommended and a bonus is it's cost.

Item arrived within 2 days, well packed and accurately calibrated, simple to use with fairly clear instructions. Build quality is sturdy, the equal of many much more expensive devices. Comes with two batteries, calibration weight and a pouch to keep it dust free. Probably the cheapest tweaking device on the market, I recommend you get yourself one if you haven't already.

Easy to set up and use, despite the brief instructions. It came with batteries included, but they were both flat, so I had to get new ones. Seems to give very consistent readings. After using it to set my tracking weight to the recommended 1.75 grams, three subsequent tests on three different days all gave a reading of either 1.75 or 1.76g. You need good eyesight to use it, as the pad on which you have to centre the stylus is pretty small and if you go much off-centre, it gives a different reading. Since these devices can cost many times as much as this, it represents excellent value for money.
